The Best Wireless Network Infrastructure Awards contain two sub-categories: 2a Best Next Gen Wi-Fi Network Infrastructure Award and 2b Best Converged Network Infrastructure Award.

The category is for commercially available products, devices, applications or services that have been launched in at least one country/market by the time of awards entry deadline.

  • 2a. Best Next Gen Wi-Fi Network Infrastructure

    This category highlights advances in Wi-Fi network infrastructure deployments (including network operator, venue or city deployments). The entry should focus on outlining significant progress in terms of technical or commercial advances within the network and/or offering new value added services.

    This category is open to Technology providers.

    The nominations to be judged based on a combination of following key criterion:

        • Technical design in network elements, based on Next Gen Wi-Fi network technology
        • Benefits provided to the operator business case
        • Improvements in performance, cost control and network management
        • Enhancement of existing value added services that the network can deliver
        • Creativity and market impact

    The category is for commercially available products, devices, applications or services that have been launched in at least one country/market by the time of awards entry deadline.



     

  • 2b. Best Converged Network Infrastructure

    This category highlights advances in converged wireless network infrastructure deployments (including network operator, venue or city deployments).
    The entry should focus on interesting deployments concerning coexistence and convergence of licensed & unlicensed networks.

    This category is open to Technology providers.

    The nominations to be judged based on a combination of following key criterion:

        • Technical design in network elements, based on a combination of coexistent or converged network technologies
        • Benefits provided to the operator business case
        • Improvements in performance, cost control and network management
        • Enhancement of existing value added services that the network can deliver
        • Creativity and market impact

    The category is for commercially available products, devices, applications or services that have been launched in at least one country/market by the time of awards entry deadline.
